Arcanum was founded in 1998 in Great Falls, Montana and is affiliated with firms in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Richmond and London.

Our senior buyer has over 31 years of experience in the jewelry appraisal profession and holds an academic Master’s degree in Valuation (appraisal) Science. He is also a Graduate Gemologist (GIA); a graduate of Christie’s Fine and Decorative Arts in London, England; a Charter Senior Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers; and a 20 year member of the British Society of Jewellery Historians.
